Shanghai Instrument Motor Factory and Shanghai Tachometer Factory have been restructured and renamed as " Shanghai Automation Instrument Tachometer and Instrument Motor CO.,LTD.", and the primitive name was no longer used.

    Shanghai Instrument Motor Factory was established in 1946, and was well known for manufacturing automation instrument and controlling motor of automation device. Shanghai Tachometer Factory was found in 1958 and was a national manufacturer specialized in various kinds of speed detecting instrument, which had a domestic share of market over 70%.
